October 23, 2013 Resolution to Designate Snowmobile Routes

RESOLUTION TO DESIGNATE SNOWMOBILE ROUTES
RESOLUTION NUMBER 4-2013
WHEREAS, THE Town Board of Supervisors, Town of Dewey, Portage County, has requested to designate Town Right of Ways within the Town of Dewey as snowmobile routes pursuant to Section 350.047 of Wisconsin Statues.

Whereas, the Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Dewey believe it is in the public interest to designate certain highways as snowmobile routes.

NOW THEREFORE, THE Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Dewey does hereby ordain as follows:

The following highways within the Town of Dewey shall be designated snowmobile routes pursuant to Section 350.047 of Wisconsin Statues:

1) Torun Road north of Dewey Drive for approximately 1 mile.

2) Maple Drive beginning ¼ mile east of Sunset Drive continuing west to Campsite Drive and north on Campsite Drive to River’s Edge property.

3) Haymeadow Drive: One hundred feet south and five hundred feet north of the bridge.

This approval will be granted on the condition that all snowmobile signs will be erected by the Pok-a-Snoz Snowmobile Club and inspected and approved by the Portage County Sheriff’s Department. All snowmobile signs are the responsibility of the Pok-a-Snoz Snowmobile Club to be put up in the Fall and removed in the Spring.

Approved by the Dewey Town Board and Adopted this 23rd Day of October 2013 at the Town Board Meeting of the Town Board.
