TOWN BOARD ACTION, PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of the Town of Dewy, Portage County, Wisconsin, will be holding a Public Hearing on proposed amendments to its Comprehensive Plan on March 16, 2016 at 6:30pm, at the Town Hall of the Town of Dewey located at 430 Dewey Drive, Stevens Point, WI 54482.
Matt Baker Storage, applicant, requests an amendment of the Town of Dewey Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation on the Future Land Use Map for parcel number 014-25-0711-D01,from Agriculture-“Road Right of Way” to Commercial Use. A request has been made to change the zoning for the same parcel from A4 General Agricultural Zoning District to C4 Commercial Zoning District. A request has also been made to consider the combining of parcels 014-25-0711-D01, 014-25-0711-A01 and 014-25-0702-12.01.
The Town of Dewey Plan Commission voted on the proposed amendment to the Town of Dewey Comprehensive Plan on January 27, 2016. The Town Plan Commission also voted on the rezoning request and the combining of parcels, contingent upon adoption of the Comprehensive Plan amendment, at the January 27, 2016 meeting. All three recommendations will be on the agenda of the March 16, 2016 Town of Dewey Board meeting.
