BIDS WANTED
The Town of Dewey, Portage County is requesting sealed bids for the sale the following:
1) 1998 GMC 3500 Truck
This 1998 GMC 3500 Truck has a 6.5 liter diesel engine with a hydraulic dump box and dual rear wheels. It has four-wheel drive and the motor and drive train are in good condition. It has 191,390 miles on it. This has been owned since it was new and has been well maintained. This item is offered for sale and shall be sold "as is" and without any warranties. Anyone interested in more information or wishing to view the truck should contact Town Chairperson, Maurice King at 715-341-3159 or by email at chairtownofdewey@gmail.com. Sealed bids are to be in the office of the Town Clerk, Angela Lochinger, 430 Dewey Drive, Stevens Point, WI 54482 prior to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Bids will be opened at the Town Board Meeting that evening which starts at 6:30 p.m.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
The Town Board of the Town of Dewey reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid(s) or combination of bids deemed most advantageous to the Town of Dewey.
