TOWN BOARD ACTION, PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of the Town of Dewy, Portage County, Wisconsin, will be holding a Public Hearing on proposed amendments to its Comprehensive Plan on February 11, 2016 at 7:00pm, at the Town Hall of the Town of Dewey located at 430 Dewey Drive, Stevens Point, WI 54482.

Rivers Edge, Inc., applicant, requests an amendment of the Town of Dewey Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation on the Future Land Use Map for parcel numbers 014-25-0723:08.03, 014-25-0723;08.04 and 014-25-0723;08.06 from Medium Density Residential to L3 Limited Ag/Mixed Use. A request has been made to change the zoning for the same parcels from R5 Waterfront Residence Zoning District to A4 General Agricultural Zoning District.

The Town of Dewey Plan Commission will vote on the proposed amendment to the Town of Dewey Comprehensive Plan on January 14, 2016. The Town Plan Commission will also vote on the rezoning request, contingent upon adoption of the Comprehensive Plan amendment, at the January 14, 2016 meeting. Both recommendations will be on the agenda of the February 11, 2016 Town of Dewey Board meeting.
